Digital Marketing Strategist

We’re looking to add a Digital Marketing Strategist to our team at Geek Town USA! The ideal candidate will have a diverse background in digital storytelling and creating compelling content that drives results. This person must be able to navigate an entrepreneurial environment and be willing to toggle between strategy and execution daily. This person will be responsible for leading and executing digital initiatives across social, search, display, mobile, and review sites in support of the overall brand strategy and goals. The digital marketing strategist will bring a fresh and experienced perspective and explore new ways to engage audiences.

Duties

  • Responsible for developing and executing digital marketing strategies, programs, and content in support of yearly goals across social (paid, organic, influencer), search, review sites, display, and more
  • Manage paid and organic search campaign execution, optimization, and measurement (metrics, tracking, reporting)
  • Responsible for social paid media planning, campaign execution, and measurement
  • Plan and manage monthly digital budgets
  • Research and share key trends and emerging channels
  • Responsible for understanding the competitive landscape, client mindset, and business needs to inform digital strategy & execution

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of digital marketing experience
  • Proficiency with Google fundamentals (Ads, Analytics, Google My Business, Marketing Platform, Campaign Manager); Proficiency with Facebook Ads/Business Manager
  • Certified in Google AdWords and Analytics
  • Experience in developing marketing pixels and UTM codes
  • Experience measuring and making recommendations using performance measurement tools, metrics, and other social dashboards
  • Deep understanding of digital platforms & trends
  • Eager and excited to test new ways to share our brand story, engage clients, and drive results
  • Strong project management and organizational skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization

Bonus Qualifications

  • Strong eye for design and copywriting; Photoshop experience is a plus
  • Ability to create compelling digital content
  • Experience with multi-location client accounts
